Sam and Susan Flores

Family: Sam has two adults sons: Darrel and Nathan.

Mission Agency: The Flores serve with Independent Baptist Mission for Asians. According to its Facebook page, “Our primary mission is to help win souls and establish indigenous New Testament Baptist churches in the continent of Asia through the local churches…Asian nationals, as missionaries in reaching the Asians, is one of the fastest and most practical ways of fulfilling the Great Commission.”

Sending Church: Open Door Baptist Church in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Mission Field: Sam and Susan are serving in the city of Santa Barbara in the Philippines. According to their prayer card, “Santa Barbara is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. Santa Barbara is populated mainly by Pangasinense natives with a sprinkling of other ethnic groups led by the Ilocanos. According to the latest census, it has a population of 73,025 people in 12,111 households.”

Ministry Focus: Focused on soul winning, church planting, and training the nationals in the city of Santa Barbara in the Philippines, Sam is serving as Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church.
