Mission Agency: Mike Howard serves as the Chaplain for CityLinC in Battle Creek, Michigan, whose mission is, according to its website, to “connect children and youth to loving families, families to secure futures, individuals to caring community, and community to personal faith. We do this through our foster care and adoption program, our mentor program for parolees, and our community connections events and services, which help build positive relationships in our community.”

Ministry Focus: Mike ministers to people struggling with addictions and poor life choices. He sees 70-80 clients a week that are assigned to him by Drug Court. He also works with people in KPEP and in the County Jail. He teaches life skills classes and GED classes. He also meets with people going through Shepherd’s Embrace (a Christian approach to the 12-step Alcohol Anonymous program). Through these relationships, Mike finds many opportunities to share the Gospel.
