The Blessings offerings for July 2026 are designated for David’s House Ministries which, according to its website, “exists to extend God’s love and foster a community of care to adults with special needs.” In an email dated June 30, 2025, the ministry wrote, “On June 29, 1987, the very first residents moved into House 1 at David’s House. Since that day, we’ve grown into a vibrant community serving over 70 individuals across 9 David’s House-owned homes and 2 privately owned homes. Remarkably, 6 of the original 10 residents still call David’s House home today!”

Calvary has two significant connections with David’s House Ministries. The ministry was started by Calvary’s former Pastor and his wife, Rev. Jay and Lois DeBoer; and one of the residents living at David’s House is Greg Nesseth, who grew up at Calvary and is the younger brother of our own Brent Nesseth.

Blessings Offerings are designated for a ministry outside of Calvary Baptist Church. For your convenience, designated Blessings Offering envelopes are available on top of the Giving Box in the Church Lobby. Blessing Offerings can also be given by using the “Special” line on an offering envelope, by choosing “Blessings Offerings” on the church APP or online giving website, or by mailing in a designated gift to the church.
