Missionaries of the Month

Each month, our Missions Team designates different missionary families or ministries as “Missionaries of the Month.”

In March 2026, the Missionaries of the Month are Jeff and Deb Minniear.

Jeff and Deb have four adult children and five grandchildren.

The Minniears are serving with Continental Baptist Missions in its Revitalization ministry. In 2022, Jeff and Deb begin ministering at Colon Baptist Church in Colon, Michigan, “rebuilding or revitalizing their church body to grow it to where they could support their own Pastor again.”

Colon Baptist Church was established in 1837. However, when the Minniears begin their ministry, the weekly average attendance had dwindled to 20 people. Jeff and Deb have used several outreach events to develop relationships in the community. And, God has worked. The church has seen both numeric and spiritual growth. But, the church is not satisfied with status quo. According in the latest newsletter, in January, the church planned its outreach events for 2026.
