Missionaries of the Month

Each month, our Missions Team designates different missionary families or ministries as “Missionaries of the Month.”

In June 2026, the Missionaries of the Month are Tim and Charlene Miskimen.

Tim and Charlene Miskimen have four children and one grandchild. Their adult children are Nathan, Matthew, and Ellie. The youngest son is Cai who lives with his parents.

The Miskimens are serving with ABWE in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where Tim teaches graduate-level Systematic Theology classes at Asia Biblical Theological Seminary (ABTS).  ABTS is “an accredited, graduate school of Bible and Theology with over 300 students pursuing Masters degrees.” According to its website, Cornerstone University provides academic oversight for ABTS, and graduating students receive a degree from Cornerstone.

ABTS offers in-person, online, and hybrid (partly in-person and partly online) classes, and the students at ABTS come from a wide variety of countries. According to the Miskimen’s May 2026 Newsletter, the class that Tim is currently teaching has thirteen students joining online from India, Ghana, Philippines, and Cambodia.
