Tim and Charlene Miskimen

Family: Tim and Charlene Miskimen have four children and one grandchild. Their adult children are Nathan, Matthew, and Ellie. The youngest son is Cai who lives with his parents.

Mission Field: The Miskimens are serving with ABWE in Chiang Mai, Thailand, whose vision is, according to its website, “to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people.”

Ministry Focus: Tim teaches graduate-level Systematic Theology classes at Asia Biblical Theological Seminary (ABTS). The main campus is based in Chiang Mai, Thailand with other locations in the Philippines, Singapore, India, and Myanmar. Tim sometimes travels to these other locations to teach courses. As a result of Covid-19 aftermath, ABTS now offers “hybrid” classes in which some students attend in-person while others are online.

More Information: ABTS is “an accredited, graduate school of Bible and Theology with over 300 students pursuing Masters degrees.” According to its website, Cornerstone University provides academic oversight for ABTS, and graduating students receive a degree from Cornerstone.
